Second of two Percy Tarrant en grisaille oils we have currently and also an original artwork for a commission by C.W. Faulkner and Co., London, who published a postcard of a cropped view of this original. The company label removed from the original frame (beyond repair) reads: ‘Original drawing no. 4528 Sweet Summer Time P.Tarrant’ and is attached verso with one of the postcards produced. Signed, lower left.
