Fishermen enjoying a good chat and a pint by a warming fire. A local historian points out that the pub is more likely North East England than Yorkshire. This is because of the positioning of the stove and also the fireguard is made from a broken railway engine wheel, which were often seen in the these hostelries! A charming subject and the artist at his best.
