Isaac Henzell (1815-1875)
Isaac Henzell was a painter from the North East of England. He frequently painted the fisherfolk and rural genre scenes of Northumberland and surrounding areas.He was a descendent of the Huguenot family of D Henzell who founded the Newcastle glass industry in1619.Uncle of the Newcastle Hemy painters Charles,B.B and Thomas Marie. A most sought-after artist.
