Wreckers plunder a ship that has been run aground most probably by stormy seas but perhaps, as folklore would have it, lured onto the rocks by false lights. Either way, it doesn't look as there will be much remaining of the ship by the time they've finished! Signed lower right with a G.M. monogram.
