Georg Hahn was a recognised German artist but only a few of his works are recorded as selling at auction in the last 25 years. This is a really charming and cheerful painting of children (perhaps his own?) and their dog with the eldest carrying a meal of dumplings to the table. Painted on a good solid panel, there has been some restoration undertaken and the price has now been substantially reduced. Please consider this as an 'attributed' picture. Signed bottom left.
