Ernest Arthur Rowe (1863-1922)
Ernest Arthur Rowe was a London born artist of landscapes and gardens. Rowe studied at the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours where he won the Presidents Medal in 1885. Highly talented and well exhibited including eight one-man exhibitions at Dowdeswell and Dowdeswells, the Royal Institution for Painters in Watercolours, the Royal Society of British Artists, and at the Royal Academy (26).
