A young woman rests at the end of the day's work as dusk falls. Lovely painting: a sense of end-of-day weariness expressed through Hankey's use of colour and the woman's posture. Signed and dated 1903, lower right, and titled to the reverse. Cleaned, conserved and glazed with Artglass.
