Winter in the Borders
Medium: Watercolour
Size without frame: 11.0" x 14.0"

William Baker, one of the stalwarts of the North East art scene in the early years of the 20th century, painted many landscapes and occasionally views of the area and the borders in the snow. This is a typical example of the latter and the winter scene makes a very decorative subject. Please note that the ghostly figure in the background taking the photograph is not a permanent fixture and will be asked to leave as soon as possible!!....
