An exceptional painting of a most beautiful becalmed loch light with the village and castle on Lochranza, Isle of Arran. A sheer joy, depicting one of those summer days that draws one to the West coast of Scotland time and time again. Dalglish was certainly fortunate catching this light in Lochranza as the village is reputed to have the least hours of sunshine of any in the United Kingdom. This painting is in excellent condition and in a superb Fransden swept frame. This is the second time in a long career that we have handled this exceptional painting.
