A scarce offering of an interesting genre painting in a mildly primative style. The bulk of Goodes' work was executed to be printed and illustrated and originals rarely appear. It is more than probable this offering,( one of two),Exists somewhere as an engraving though we have not researched that,as yet.A giveaway to his residence may be from the old framers label,address Colchester. Aquired in totally original condition and it required just a light clean. NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THOMAS SWORD GOOD!
