A busy summer's day at the Sands, Whitley bay. Wonderful Thomas Swift Hutton panoramic watercolour taking in the Sands, St Pauls church, Cullercoats, and St. Mary's lighthouse and just full of detailed and charming observations of people enjoying themselves at the seaside - the fun fair, bathing machines, people shrimping. Cleaned, conserved, glazed with Artglass and beautifully framed. Signed, lower left.
