Thomas Nicolson Tyndale (1858 - 1936)
Not found in most Dictionaries he finds a rightful place in Jeremy Woods 'Hidden Talents'.
A painter in watercolours of cottages,landscapes and Venetian scenes he was the cousin of Walter Tyndale,(1853-1943),the well known painter and illustrator.Thomas lived in Acton,West London,and was a regular exhibitor with the Dudley Gallery Art Society and at the Egyptian Hall in Picadilly.He also exhibited in the provinces showing at least nine works at th RWA.For the most part these were Surrey and Sussex cottage scenes.He also worked as an illustrator painting 20 watercolous as illustrations for the book 'Worcestershire' published by the well known company of A&c Black in 1909.He later moved to Worthing where he died aged 78.
