The title is as shown on a label of the respected dealers and framers 'Mawson Swan and Morgan' who dealt with the major Northern artists. This being so, the cattle drove can only be heading one way - South West to the bottom tip of Loch Tay, then Eastwards to Glen Almond and South to, historically, one of Scotlands' greatest cattle trysts, or fairs, at Crieff beginning the second week of October.
Beautiful fresh condition and presentation. One of two currently offered Highland drover subjects. Signed with his distinctive monogramme which was almost as common as a full signature. Sheer pleasure twice over !
