Small, crisp, fresh and lovely work by Rowbotham Snr. Re-mounted in the original frame that has been repaired but does not detract and is still much too good to replace. One of two excellent examples currently offered. Sold from the Tomlinson collection at Chrisie's in 1943 and obtained by the last owner about 30 years ago.
