Delightful and atmospheric oil on board by well known Irish painter Roland Ossary Dunlop, and signed and dated 1951. Born in Dublin, Dunlop trained in London and is best known for his palette-knife painting with rich impasto and glowing colour - as this is - possibly a sketch from life?
