Percy Tarrant (1855-1934)
Percy Tarrant was a British illustrator and artist of landscape, coastal and figures. Tarrant exhibited 1881-1930 including at the Royal Academy (22), RBA, Dudley and Walker galleries. Illustrator of many books including Little Women, Wuthering Heights, and Silas Marner, Percy Tarrant also illustrated Christmas cards. Father of Margaret Winifred Tarrant, the well-known illustrator, and lived mainly in Surrey.
