Charming Norman Cornish with an excellent provenance and good strong colours. This is a really early one with the old type Stone Gallery label verso, it has never been offered at auction, and has only been in two private family collections in the North East since it was originally bought in the 50's. Note however that, in spite of that impeccable provenance, the signature is extremely faint and could be treated as unsigned. The price reflects this.
