A fine and substantial example of the work of Maurice Canning Wilks of a bright and breezy spring day, the light and colours true to the North Antrim coast. Painted from Rockport, Cushendun, looking across the bay to Garron Point, with wind whipped white horses in the North Channel and waves crashing over the Rockport rocks. Acquired as one of a small private collection in the UK, this painting is completely fresh to the market. Fine condition and with original John Magee Limited of Belfast label.
