Martha Darlay Mutrie (1824-1885)
Miss Martha Darley Mutrie was the elder sister of Miss Annie Feray Mutrie and had an equally distinguished carreer. She studied under George Wallis at the Manchester School of Design. She exhibited from 1853-1878 at the Royal Academy and from 1853-78 at the British Institute and New Watercolour Society and elsewhere.
