We continually maintain that Dixon Clark is one of the best of the agricultural genre and in this lovely example one could well be forgiven for thinking, at first glance, they were looking at the work of Joseph Farquharson. Acquired in very good, untouched condition it required just a light clean and, as often, a good re-framing.
