This painting's proper title is El Senorita Sombrero and was acquired in about 2000 by the vendor, a customer of this gallery. It was purchased at an exhibition at Tallantyre Gallery from the artist himself, who was on hand at the exhibition. He said it was painted by a rock pool in Majorca and he rated it as one of his best with the wonderful use of light in the picture together with his favourite model as the girl in the picture.
