John Watkins Chapman (1832-1903)
Watkins Chapman was a London-based painter and engraver of landscapes, portraits, interior and genre scenes. He exhibited more than 30 paintings at the Royal Academy between 1853 and 1903 and extensively at both the British Institution and at Suffolk Street.
