A floating barge crane by the old board walk at Shields on The Tyne.
A quite superb example of Slater at his height of impressionistic painting depicting the Tyne in the evening light. Beautiful impasto full of ever changing colour and movement. Quite the best we have had and, again, a wonderful addition to any collection.
Outside dimension of the quality, modern frame is: 32.5" x 28.5".
