Jan Wils (c1600-1666)
Dutch artist of the seventeenth Century. Born in Haarlem towards 1600 and died there in 1666.
His daughter was betrothed to Nicholas Bergham and the two artists often worked together. Many of their joint paintings bear the name of Nicholas Bergham only. However, Jan Wils painted many himself in a similar style to that of Jan Roth.
