J. Edgar Mitchell (1871-1922)
J. Edgar Mitchell was a landscape and portrait painter in oils and watercolours. From around 1894 he lived and worked from Newcastle. Exhibited at the Royal Academy and today his works can be seen at the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle, and the Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead.
