A charming watercolour which definitely captures a sense of romance in the air. Could the young man, who certainly does not look like your average farm worker, be a budding bard reciting a few words from a love poem? The young lady, coyly holding her hand, certainly seems surprised and charmed. Good strong and unfaded colours in the original framing.
