An interesting historical record of Guildford in Surrey nearly 140 years ago with the 12th Century Anglican Church of St Mary and the houses of Quarry Street viewed from across the River Wey. The Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known as Lewis Carroll, preached at St Mary's and his funeral was held in the church.
