Another of our collection of works by Harry Sutton Palmer, this time of the village of Shamley Green - part of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Wonersh and Cranleigh. Classic English scene; fields of the rolling Surrey Hills bordered by woods and trees, a wisp of smoke rising from a sleepy village. Dated just after the end of WW1 this fine watercolour has good strong colours and is presented in the fine original frame. Beautiful condition and ready to hang on the wall as ever. Definitely one of our favourite artists - always first class quality.
