A very 'English' watercolourist is Sutton Palmer. His illustrated books were an inspiration when younger and he continues to give pleasure. This is now identified as an important painting being the original for the book,Bonny Scotland,1904, by A R Hope Moncrieff published by A & C Black showing The Head of Loch Lomond looking up Glen Falloch.
