In more than 40 years of dealing in North East artists, we've only ever seen 2 or 3 of this subject by Harry Sticks, which we've always felt were his very best works. We sold this particular painting in an exhibition in 2001 and now it's come on to the market again. 'Small is beautiful' size and an original 'swept' frame.
