One of a set of three fine views by this artist which we had thought were of Oxford Colleges - a frequent subject for this artist. However, thanks to one of our ever-helpful customers who pointed out the exact location of this scene, which is St John's College, Cambridge with the Chapel, which was added 1863-9, clearly seen. Clearly signed and dated.
