George Henry Edwards (1859-1918)
Not much is known of George Henry Edwards (act.1883-1911) though between 1896 and 1900 he exhibited six paintings at the Royal Academy with an address of Camden Studios. Edwards also exhibited at the Royal Institute, the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, and the Royal Society of British Artists. Greek/Roman mythology features in many of his works with titles including: The spirit of the Marsh, A wood nymph, A bacchante, Andromeda, and Enid.
