A fine example of the watercolour work of George Haydock Dodgson. A substantial sized work of a subject he painted several times - Figures in period costumes in Haddon Hall in Derbyshire. Haddon Hall has been described as "The most perfect house to survive from the middle ages". Parts of the house are 12th century and has been used innumerable times for film sets.Impressive and signed watercolour in excellent condition with amazingly strong colours for its age.
