Hortons works such as this example are so very distinctive with the obvious use of broad pencilwork,light flicks of colour and use of smokey grey and brown. He painted infrequently in oils and was a great experimenter with the art of etching and with little effort could suggest movement of wind and rain.Still underestimated is this artist made good in London.
