One of a pair of delightful scenes. This one is of Knaresborough Castle - the spelling on the original slip in the town's old name. The original frame has been replaced with a lighter and more modern outer frame. The original, rather heavy frame is still available but would require a clean and this could be arranged. The painting is signed, and to the back of the canvas annotated and dated (1893) by the artist.
