Magnificent example of George Blackie Sticks' fine work and almost certainly in the wild landscape of the North West of Scotland where he often painted powerful cliff and shore subjects. He always annotated his paintings on the back of the canvas and signed them again. This one reads 'Haunt of the birds - Sunset'.
