An atmospheric view at sunset of Invergarry Castle and Loch Oich in Scotland's Great Glen. Built in 1602 on Creagan an Fhithich (Raven's Rock) the seat of the clan MacDonell of Glengarry, Invergarry castle was sacked by Duke of Cumberland after the Jacobite risings 1746. A good sized example, dated 1884 signed and annotated on the back of the canvas as usual for G B Sticks. NB. the full-sized image is taken in sunlight.
