Sticks is guilty of Anglicising this view as there is no Glen Blaven as such. The mountain is indeed Blaven, (Bla Bheinn), but the river, which flows via two waterfalls is short - one and a half kilometers - and does not flow through a named Glen as such, emptying into Loch Slappin, and is named Allt na Dunaiche. Well, you can't blame Sticks ! You can't get your tongue around that Gaelic one either can you ?
A lovely view of a powerful mountain, (been there!), and the only Monro mountain on Skye outside the Cuillins !
