Frederick Stead (1863-1940)
Landscape and Genre painter. Born in 1863 in Shipley, Yorkshire. Studied art at the RCA where he won gold and silver medals. Exhibited RA from 1892. Taught at Bradford School of Art. Member of the Yorkshire Society of Artists.
