Eva Roos (1872-1956)
Eva Roos was a London-based British artist and illustrator of childrens books. She exhibited five works at the Royal Academy between 1898 and 1904. The National Museum of Wales has a sculpted portrait in copper of her by Sir William Goscombe John. Perhaps suggesting a friendship, her husband, the painter Simon Harmon Vedder, painted a portrait of Goscombe John (exhibited at the RA in 1901).
