Dare we say that when he was good he was very, very, good - in fact as good as TMR Junior.
A beautifuly executed panorama of the Drachenfels ('Dragons Rock' - a 321 metre high hill) and ruined castle built by Archbishop Arnold the First of Cologne, built between 1138 and 1167. A most collectable painting of the 'Grand Tour' oeuvre.
Signed and dated, just visible right on the bottom edge. Again, in gallery condition.
