A beautiful watercolour sketch almost definitely done 'en plein air', and probably depicting the Marché aux Oiseaux (bird market) at Place Louis Lepine on Ile de la Cite.
Very much in the style of Edward Ardizzone, dated 1949, and with signature or initials which is illegible to us.
