The majority of Arden's watercolours are of Northumberland and the English Lakes. He did, on occasion, visit and paint in various Scottish locations and rarely in the Western Islands. It is known he was in Skye but this is the first time in our career we find him on the Isle of Arran. A very interesting and imposing example by this artist.
