Claude Thomas Stanfield Moore (1853-1901)
Claude Thomas Stanfield Moore was an English marine artist born in Nottingham. He began by painting landscapes but is better known today for his coastal and river scenes, especially of the Thames. Today represented in National Maritime Museum, and the Nottingham, Derby, and Science museums.
