A fine watercolour acquired from an estate, this is a charming scene of a mother and daughter exploring the seashore at low tide. The rosy-cheeked child's attention is caught by the bladderwrack and the mother's by her child. A truly lovely watercolour. Signed and dated 1909 lower right.
