Lovely soft watercolour of what in 1896 were most likely fishermen's cottages at Shanklin, Isle of Wight where Grant settled having contracted tuberculosis. Today the headland still familiar but the houses not quite as picturesque and the esplanade has encroached upon the sands. Signed and dated lower left.
