On a cold looking overcast autumnal day an elegant tugboat of the early 1900's tows a barque through choppy harbour waters - one imagines to a breaker's yard. A wave breaks over the bow, the smoke from the tug's funnel flattened by the strong wind, you can almost hear the tug's engines straining. Superbly executed realism by Gribble. Signed lower left, in excellent condition having been cleaned and conserved.
