Arthur Trevor Haddon (1864-1941)
Arthur Trevor Haddon (also Trevor Haddon) was a British painter, illustrator and watercolourist. He won a scholarship in 1883 to Slade School of Fine Art thereafter training in Madrid. Well travelled he painted landscape and country scenes across Europe and the Americas. Haddon exhibited extensively including at the Royal Academy (from 1887,19) New Society of Watercolours (11) and was elected to the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA, 178) in 1896. Haddon was also a fine portrait artist and is included in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery. Other works can be seen in the Bushey Museum and Art Gallery, various Oxford/Cambridge colleges, the V&A and the Royal Cornwall Museum.
