A classic and charming Dutch snowscene attributed to Andreas Schelfhout. The images have been sent to Amsterdam to get an expert opinion about this work. It is therefore being sold as attributed only on the fine quality of the painting and the provenance from The Cooling Galleries of London. With a period framed and on a fine panel. UPDATE: The opinion from the Dutch expert is that this should continue to be considered as an attribution only and we have reduced the asking price accordingly. Still a lovely painting....
