Alfred Thomas Derby (1821-1873)
Alfred Thomas Derby was a painter of historical figure studies and portraits who studied at the Royal Academy schools. Son of watercolour painter William Derby (1786-1847). Alfred Thomas Derby exhibited at Royal Academy 1848-1872 (22 works) and also at the British Institution and Suffolk Street.
